Today Jaiku was open sourced by Google, to my surprise it runs on Django 1.0 :), using the also awesome appengine_django project to run Django 1.0 in Google App Engine.
As right now, it doesn't work out of the box, I'll explain how to run it (thanks for the help in the development list):
1. Install python-profiler: sudo apt-get install python-profiler
2. Go to .google_appengine: cd .google_appengine
3. Apply this patch:
