Android Phone - T-Mobile HTC G1 - RULZ!

Me with the G1

This is my review of the HTC G1 the first Android phone.

Three weeks ago I decided that it was about time to change my phone, and what's the very best phone out there? the Google phone, the T-Mobile G1.

What rocks!:
  • Android OS is pretty stable and fast
  • Able to run background process (apps)
  • Apps-tasks switcher
  • System integration is very cool
  • Google services integration is very well done
  • Copy&Paste
  • Calendar integration
  • Gmail integration
  • Youtube
  • Amazon mp3 (DRM-free music store)
  • Lots of third party apps
  • Open Source
  • Love the keyboard
  • Love the trackball
  • Touch screen rulz
What sucks!:
  • The phone is hot! (it gets hot when browsing the web or charging)
  • Camera sucks big time... I don't care since I have a real camera already
  • When you're charging it, its a bit awkward to type on it
  • Battery life... I need to get another battery :P
  • No 3D games yet :( (but the API is there)
What's AWESOME:

In less than 15 days... Banshee integration is in the latest released version:

Android - Banshee integration

Lindo cacharro Igor, vamos a pedirle al ALBA que nos traiga de esos a precios justos y no de libre mercardo. Oe esa barra en la parte inferior nunca la he visto en banshee 1 :-(
