I'm just about uninstall openSuSE from my main computer. As a Mono user trying out openSuSE is a must, and guest what? SuSE still is my second choice in Linux distributions. Because a lot of reasons:
1. Very updated
2. Great support of multimedia
3. Suspend works
4. Gnome is very well integrated(even in Yast)
5. Multimedia playback out-of-the-box
6. All my Mono applications and tools are in their latest versions
7. It's damn fast!
What I don't like:
1. Very hard to finally configure compiz
2. GTK Yast need some love
3. x86_64 is not 100% out-of-the-box, I had to install Firefox(x86 from their site.
4. I was unable to reduce my monitor brightness
5. Why do I have to close my Gnome session to start compiz?
